So, I've wanted to do something like this for a long long time.

This is a post for all of you, everyone out there who may feel sad and alone or fearful. Take a look at this, smile, be encouraged. You're on my mind and though we may not know each other you mean something to me.

So the other day I was making a list of some 'classic' general fics for someone newer to the community and I know there's a few other 'newbie' guides out there, but hopefully this will only further help everyone :)

Under The Cut :
- Some 'classic' recs for general, wincest, and j2.
- Some must see videos for the fandom.
- Where to find... (icons, headers, other graphics.)
- Helpful links/communities.

I ask you to note that while this is to help people newer to the fandom become familiar with some of the areas there are that it can also help older fans expand their horizon and find some new favorites, perhaps.

I'm not typically the kind of person who would put myself out there in this way but for this time only I will.

I know that no matter what fandom you're in, people just aren't always very open to newer authors. But I'm telling you that is a huge mistake. Some of the most amazing writers are right there, waiting to be found.

This is really important to me because where as my writing may not be super awesome, amazing on any level - I'm going to ask that you just give it a chance. Give me a chance. I'm so passionate about writing, and while I write for myself I want others to be able to enjoy it as well. So please, once again, give it a chance. Or maybe not me, give that one author who seems kind of neat a chance, read something you never thought you'd read before, discover someone/something new. It's worth it.
